McDonnell Douglas DC-9-30 (VH-TJR)

In 1985 TAA flew a direct service to Mangalore from Adelaide (and other cities) while in 1986 Ansett did the honors - my two opportunities to easily get there.

This DC-9 presented a great opportunity for a pic and as luck would have it, just in the right spot to include the restored De Havilland DH-88 Comet racer on display.

How time flies. I flew the USN DC-9-30 from 1984-1988. Nice airplane, and that DH-88 too.
