BOEING 737-400 (VH-TJS)

TAA and Ansett ANA flew a duopoly in Australia for many years with flight schedules almost identical in some cases. This was certainly the case in Darwin where as RNZAF C130 aircrew we used to stay at the Darwin Travelodge on stopover through to SE Asia. This was the hotel of choice for TAA and Ansett so it was no surprise that when we arrived at the hotel our first task was to have a happy hour beer poolside. Inevitably the pool was surrounded by a bevy of TAA and Ansett cabin crew in bikinis soaking up the afternoon rays. Mirrored sunglasses were the order of the day!!
