Not being a pilot myself but an aviation enthusiast I look at this photo and think...wow those props seem extremely large. Are they ?
yes they are large. 8 Blades are pushing the boundaries of Prop Technology and probably the last time we will ever see this
Those props are pushing 13.5 feet (4.11 meters) per Northrop Grumman specs. Visually I was guessing bout 11 feet. Moving a lot of air.
