The E-140s were an interesting chapter in Envoy's and AA's history. Its interesting to see where they all go after getting parked. I think we were lucky to get 842 in MHK as often as we did - it was so fun to see a "heritage-liveried" aircraft in MHK! Now we just need to get N760MQ to stop by!
I didn't even know Ft Riley was even a destination. When I flew for Trans States I'm not even sure we did those as American Connection. Great to see an old friend of an aircraft there.I was never stationed there, but my dad was there when I was like a year old back in the very early '70's. My father-in-law and later my NCOIC shared an office there while my wife was growing up. Small world but but somehow my father-in-law and my NCOIC were in Germany the same time my wife and I were there. That said NCOIC is still one of my dad's friends from Redstone Arsanal in Huntsville, AL and remembered me as a little kid. Oh yeah, I was called Little Larry all over again because Dad was Big Larry. Now I see a picture of an EMBRAER there. Maybe Ft. Riley is a place where we have six degrees of separation, lol.
