Grumman E-2 Hawkeye — - The crew of the U.S.S. John C. Stennis (CVN-74) and the Landing Signal Officers of Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9) prepare to recover aircraft during cyclic ops on Saturday, April 21, 2018. In the foreground, the top of an E-2C Hawkeye from VAW-117 "Wallbangers" sits parked, along with a F/A-18E from VFA-151 "Vigilantes." Aft of the Vigilantes bird are three F/A-18F Super Hornets from VFA-41 "Black Aces." The final jet on the left hand side is a F/A-18E from VFA-14 "Tophatters." I took this picture from "Vultures Row," which offered an incredible view of flight operations.
