Long gone now are the phrogs. Caught this E-model passing through but with no unit markings. Circa 2007

The last of these flew on August 1, 2015, with the last one delivered to Udvar-Hazy for exhibition. All of them were in MMH or MMT squadrons.

Should be HMM or HMT squadrons. I have 3000 hrs in these birds. Great machine.

They also were in Marine HMM squadrons in Vietnam starting in 1966.

Wow, that is a beauty. The Chinook is so 'big'. This is more 'tactical'? *shrug* To scrap usable equipment is silly. But it's not their money I guess. Is there a back story on why they are killing them?
