Removing oxygen from lavs was short-sighted to begin with. Pilots and F/A's use them as well as passengers.
Decompression isn't the only reason the cruddy lavs need oxygen. Lol
Some bean counter decided that the weight and therefore fuel savings would be in the gazillions. Like the single ply napkins gazillions saving in fuel consumption? Please?
I read about this the other day. There goes our government wasting our money again.
