Crazy Lady at CLT
While I was spotting on a beautiful day in Charlotte, I was waiting for the heavy arrival of a Lufthansa A330. Once the plane was on the final approach a lady came out of no where and starting worshiping the plane. Upon further research, this lady has done this everyday for the same flight. Of all the off-beat things people worship, this doesn't seem too bad.
If the comments attached to the video are accurate, namely, that this woman is doing this as a result of her son having died on a similar flight, it seems inappropriate to categorize this as a comedy. It's a tragedy.

It is similar to lighting a candle or laying flowers on a grave or at the place of an accident where a dear one died !
And this is not a worship, it is a tribute ! Or in this case, a prayer for the safe arrival of the plane ! Or like saying a Grace for the safe arrival of the aircraft.
But definitely NOT a comedy as objected to by you also .

Something is not adding up. Apparently, she does this only for the A340 flight from Munich. The idea that it could be because of a death of her son seems fishy since her behavior is model specific, and that model has never had a fatality, according to Wikipedia.
Lufthansa has never had any major accidents since 1979. It doesn't add up. Thats why is very strange. And it is very sad if it were the case but i don't think so. And the video is of the 330, so she does it for that flight everyday no matter what the aircraft type.
I have a 'speculative' possibility. Her child WAS to come by this flight long ago, and never came. And she prays and waits, though in vain !
