US Airways: Flames seen on landing plane's engine
US Airways flight 1764 from Charlotte to Washington, D.C., landed Saturday night with flames coming from its left engine, officials said. The captain declared an emergency as a precaution while landing at Reagan National Airport. US Airways spokeswoman said flames were seen coming from the Airbus 319's engine, but the engine itself apparently was not on fire. (www.charlotteobserver.com) المزيد...
