UM bumped from UAL flight for "weight and balance"

A United Express flight operated by CommutAir needed to shed some weight, 5 pax worth... One of them was an unaccompanied minor. They state "they didn't know his UM status when he was removed from the flight" Every PAX knows the UMs on flights. The big plastic sleeve full of paperwork around their neck is a dead giveaway.
