Sawyer International Airport (KSAW) is being renamed, losing International designation

Despite public opposition to again renaming the former K.I. Sawyer AFB, or at least include local native & modern aviation pioneer Kelly Johnson's name - Marquette County voted to change the name from Sawyer International Airport to Marquette Sawyer Regional Airport, losing the International classification.
