These Cessna 172 struts always in the middle of the photo...

Well . . . you just might be right. I couldn't remember what kind it was and am not as up on helicopters as I should be, so I put what I thought I was. This was the only shot I had of this so I had nothing from the side. I'll change the caption so it will be correct. Thanks for pointing this out.

I really like this shot. Very quiet and peaceful looking.

Holy Crap!!!

Did this plane take off or slide off?

Written on 03/19/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

I am almost sure your camera came with a little booklet - description of the main function e.g. zoom.
May be it is worth to have a look at it.

Written on 08/21/2014 by Guido Warnecke

Very good photo.

Written on 03/02/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Agree.

Pretty brutal, Steven. I took a look at his postings and he has some very good images, many with some kind of 'background' and some are even on the ground(!) While there is a little repetition there and there, his work seems to be pretty good to me. And, an aircraft against a blue sky isn't always such a bad thing. Looking at what you have posted, I would suggest thinking about what should and shouldn't be posted, such as really dark and underexposed images that warrant one ★.

The tail number is only readable above the engine nacelles.
In Europe, aircraft need to have the registration printed as well on the left lower side of the wing.

Nice of the crew to greet the spotter!

I was there too, it screwed everyone up after it was announced, it would pass in front of us. over the runway and came in behind us ... They should have done a second pass.

What do you want to tell the viewers of the flightaware photo section with this photo?

Written on 08/19/2014 by Guido Warnecke

Not cool.

Ground flaps extended - nice photo!

Looks like this aircraft's tail number is N106GA, and a BE58.

Great photo! Everybody is exited.

Wow! A MU2 is fast, but here the wind helped a bit. Welcome to the 400 kts turboprop club!
I am still waiting for my membership...

May be you want to consider holding the camera straight next time. Otherwise, there is photo processing software available in the market.

Beech is selling only a handful of these per year...
Nice aircraft.

It would help to the overall composition of this photo if the tail would d be included.

Written on 08/19/2014 by Guido Warnecke

Nice photo but it is a U.S. Air Force photo taken by Tech. Sgt. Ben Bloker.

Outstanding!

Written on 09/14/2013 by Guido Warnecke

Again here my question: what does a photo like this contribute to the flightaware.com photo section?

Written on 12/15/2013 by Guido Warnecke

This looks more like a helicopter than a Cessna 402 twin engine airplane.

This is the actual plane A6-EEK that landed as UAE 434 in the Brisbane http://flightaware.com/photos/view/794880-9accb19b76efac85d183e91622afd433b7262b90/all/sort/date/page/1

Written on 10/01/2013 by Paraic Dooley

This is a Cessna Citation not at Cessna 402 twin engine prop plane.

Written on 02/28/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Are you sure about that?

Written on 09/30/2014 by Guido Warnecke

So I wonder why this photo (which is actually not a bad one...) is rated 4 times as very poor...
Unlabeled photos have no meaning on an aviation photo database.
