One of our 2 gorgeous Royal New Zealand Air Force B752s about to line up on Runway 02 for a departure somewhere up in the North Island.
On 20 July, the daily Emirates A380 had just landed from Sydney, and SOFIA, our part time NASA resident, Boeing B74S had just taken off, bound for Hawaii, and this sexy girl appeared on the taxiway. Here she is rocketing down Runway 02, and passing in front of our terminal and lovely control tower, nearly at rotate speed.
She's painted a glossy light military gray, and with an awful mixed colour background and dull bluish sky, just had to be made into a contrasty black and white.
