Thanks David. I do too! I still remember taking off from the short St. Thomas runway back in the Eastern days, then flying very low and fast to St. Croix for refueling before the trip to Florida. What a ride!

remembering the very short, fast, high climb-out from st Thomas, back in the day, on eastern airlines. The mountains around the runway were soon out of view out the side windows. Short take-off roll of about 15 to 20 seconds reflected the light load out of St Thomas, on the way to St Croix for more folks and more fuel. Very nice approach into St Thomas with the mountains getting taller and taller, then hitting as close to the end of the runway as possible. Boeing could sell hundreds of these 757's if they reopened the lines. If you build them, they will come to seattle and buy them.

Retired for scrapping at KGWO on October 1, 2015. :(

The fate it awaits at KGWO is a sad epilogue for this proud Boeing.

That is really sad indeed! Another 752 bites the dust. Soon there wont be any left. They are going the way of the 727, and I loved those planes as well. Flew way over 100K miles in those.
