The A321LR still can't match the 757s performance. It will be interesting to see if the A321LR can make the trip westbound in winter without a technical fuel stop. Also which airport in London does JBU intend to serve. LHR is major $$$$$$!!!! for slots, and that's if you can even get them. I don't see LGW being a draw for the lucrative premium passengers. On the topic of premium passengers JBU also has a major disadvantage to American, Delta, United, British Airways, and Virgin Atlantic which have a good premium product on board and lounges. JBU will also not have the connectivity that AA/BA have at LHR.

I understand JBU wanting to expand but I don't see any money in it for them except maybe leisure passengers during the summer.

Exactly and that is why so many airlines are hanging onto their 757's longer. Delta and United still have a healthy fleet, yet BA did away with their 757's years ago.

why the grand rush to use 321lr's to fly transatlantic- cramped cabin and sits for all, except the rich folks up front ?
